Our story

A home away from home

We are Tony and Pheaty — a Thai-Dutch couple. Tony grew up in the Netherlands, Pheaty here in Chiang Rai. Together we built this resort from the ground up, with one wish: that every guest feels completely at home.

Homestay Chiang Rai opened its doors in January 2009. We offer personal attention, a warm welcome, and the tranquility of northern Thailand — just minutes from rice fields, temples and the Mae Kok river.
